Water glass will not spill even at the speed of 100 km per hour, Best expressway of country, costing less than that of central government roads, know what is so special about this expressway.
Lucknow, CM Akhilesh Yadav’s dream project is ready for you to travel. You will have a smooth ride and in-spite of your car running at the speed of 100 km per hour, your glass of water will not spill in car.
Apart from other expressways Lucknow-Agra Expressway is one of the flagship schemes of CM Akhilesh Yadav. Navneet Sehgal, CEO UP Expressway IDA himself had a test ride of the expressway on Friday.
Lucknow Agra Expressway is one of the most ambitious project of CM Akilesh Yadav. He believes that the first step of development of an area starts from its roads. Agra and Lucknow being joined by this expressway will lead a step ahead to join Delhi and Lucknow directly. The joining of Capital of India to capital of Uttar Pradesh is done by keeping in mind the comfort of journey.
CM Akilesh Yadav shared video of live reality test ride of Expressway through his twitter and facebook account.
Lucknow Agra Expressway is one of the first kinds of Nation’s expressway for which farmers gave their lands without any disputes. CM Akileslsh Yadav prioritized the welfare of farmers during the construction of the road. Farm Mandis are being built on either side of roads where they can get the real cost price of their hard work.
3 Km stretch of the expressway will be used by Indian Air Force for emergency landing of planes during war and peace. Two IAF jets were set to land on it at October inauguration.
Estimated budget and structure of Expressway.
The estimated budget and costing of this expressway is too low in comparison with outer ring road to be constructed. This ring road will be a project handled by tourism minister Nitin Gadkari .If we compare and go through statistics it was found that ring road construction cost will be Rs. 55 crore per km but expressway construction cost is about Rs 30 crore per km. Inspite of low budget no compromise is done regarding the quality and comfort of road. Rs. 2548 crore were spent on acquisition of land which was taken by farmers. On adding this avenue the cost of 302 km of expressway is estimated about Rs 38 crore per km .This budget is also very less than per km. of NHAI which is Rs 55 crore per km.
This 32 km long road is Nation’s largest 6 lane access control green field expressway. In-spite of bad weather and floods it is largest Greenfield project completed in record time of 22 months.
It was a great challenge for the officers to complete this project as it is a very ambitious project of CM Akhilesh Yadav. Admits of this expressway lie 5 rivers, 900 structures in which there are 13 big bridges, 52 small bridge, 4 rail bridges, 132 foot over bridges and 59 underpass.
It joins 4 National Highways and 2 state highways. This huge project was completed under supervision and guidance of UPEIDA chief Navneet Sehgal whose regular monitoring successfully completed the project in record time. In this project on one side we can see CM’s love for environment and on other side rain water harvesting system installed. Thus we see that Lucknow – Agra Express way will help people in many ways.
